Calling Anybody Interested In Masters Hockey

Dear Masters player/ Hockey Player / Club Official,

PLEASE CIRCULATE THIS INFORMATION WIDELY THROUGHOUT YOUR COUNTIES AND CLUBS TO AS MANY MASTERS PLAYERS, both Men & Ladies, AS POSSIBLE.

Listed below are the Trials/Training and Squad match information for East Regional Masters for the Over 40 to Over 50 Ladies and the Over 40 to Over 70 Men’s Teams.

Apologies for late circulation as two squads are holding their first training sessions today, but don’t let that deter you from contacting the relevant lead, there are more playing opportunities at each age range.

A LOT OF THE TRIALS/TRAINING DATES ARE SUBJECT TO CONFIRMATION, BUT THE LEADS WILL UPDATE. WE ARE SURE THAT THERE ARE MANY PLAYERS HIDING THEIR TALENTS AND WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE RELEVANT AGE GROUP LEAD.

Ladies Over 40′s, Over 45′s and Over 50′s:

It is getting close to that time again when we need to start planning for the forthcoming Masters tournaments. The dates for the tournaments are below and we need to plan trials sessions before these dates to select the teams.

27th and 28th April Over 50′s regional tournament Cannock Hockey Club

8th and 9th June Over 40′s and Over 45′s tournament Cannock Hockey Club

It is always difficult finding dates that are convenient for everyone particularly around April in preparation for the 50s. If you are your 50th year (ie you have your 50th birthday before the end of 2013) and would like to be considered for the East 50′s team please let me know then I will see if a training/trial will be necessary, possible date 21st April, week before tournament. It’s difficult to arrange an earlier date due to Easter holidays.

Suggested trial dates for Over 40′s and Over 45′s are Sundays 12th and 19th May, pitch to be confirmed but probably at Bishops Stortford 11-3pm. Please hold these dates if you are interested in attending.

Please forward this email to anyone else you feel may be interested in being considered for any of the teams this year. Age Qualification: reaching the age of 40, 45 or 50 during the current year.

Best wishes and please contact me if you wish to trial or play,

Pippa Bull. (  Mobile Tel: 07786 125363 )
